Yan emphasized the significance of ending their trilogy, seeing it as closing a chapter and moving forward. He also acknowledged the discussions surrounding his potential GOAT status, noting that others are beginning to include him in such conversations. However, his immediate priority is defending his belt, regardless of the opponent.
“I think this time around, he’s going to try to be more of a wrestler and try to wrestle,” Yan stated.
Regarding future opponents, Yan mentioned that many fighters are deserving, with numerous individuals performing well. Having already faced several top contenders, he remains ready to fight whoever the organization designates next.
